First Over... First Ball...

Hello all Team-BHP ians,

I am ArunKK... Born and brought up in Trivandrum and presently working in Bangalore as a Software Engineer. Loves driving car in any place except Bangalore where going in 3rd gear or more is considered a great luxury.

I was introduced to this group by my friend hianooo... Could'nt help joining this wonderful place.

Well my first car was a Fiat (73 model) which mallu star mammooty used to drive in old mallu movies.. I learned the basics of driving in this car during my school days.. It was upgraded to Maruti 800 (1997) and later on Santro Zipdrive (2001)... Now we have decided to upgrade our Santro and going for my dream car Honda City ZX Gxi. Well I preferred the VTEC version, but have to compromise with the budget and mileage concerns of my parents.

I owned a Splendor(2000) when i was in Engg college.. Now upgraded to Bajaj Pulsar 150 dtsi and pretty much satisfied with it...

Well thats all for now... Hope to join with you guys in all the interesting discussions...

cheers
ArunKK

You might well do to take a look at the new Fiesta - its priced to give the City a run for its money and you have various engine options WITHIN the price of a City- a frugal petrol, a fast petrol or a frugal diesel.

Take a test drive and let us know!

Yups.. what anu said is correct. City had been my passion ever since I started seeing it on the roads.. Anyway thanks for your nice suggestion Steeroid...
Well our Munnar trip was nice and fine and Santro rocks !!!
The only sad thing was that my friend drove the car for some time with the handbrakes on!! and we got to know about it only when we got the smell of burning tyre :(

cheers

Vtec may better milage than 1.5.
OHC vtec gives better milage than 1.5 OHC. This may be applicable for NHC. Vtec is too good to be missed out.
