Logging In:: Hello BHPians

Hello to you all Team-BHPians,

To introduce myself - I am a Electronics specialist, running a electronics plant for a major OEM in Bangalore.

Confessing at the outset - I have been following Team-BHP since 2008 - the fabulous reviews, test drive reports, the active discussion fora!!! Never had the courage to sign in and communicate - I mean you guys are so knowledgeable and competent!! However, did not completely wuss-out and here I am.

I am 39 years old and a motor enthusiast. My objective in joining this very lively community is to know more.

My cars are - MS Alto (for the wife), and my ride is a sligtly modified MS Esteem 2007 - K&N Stock filter, Webasto sub-roof, in-car DVD entertainment (dual headrest LCD TV units) combined with Pioneer player (P4190UB). I kept the stock Blaupunkt Speakers though - since the sound quality is pretty good.

Apart from this HanRon alloy wheels and Bridgestone Turanza radials complete the package. Stock size.

My car is my mistress and I am fiercely possessive of her. Wouldnt dream of parting with her.

Future car plans - I want to buy a built-to-last, designed-for-the-driver diesel sedan in about a year (worth around INR 1 million)

Any ideas or suggestions?

Welcome to t-bhp - looks like you've found home!

Interesting Esteem you've got there, the mods seem to be done tastefully! Would love to see some pics/read an ownership report.

Regarding suggestions for your 10L diesel sedan, the Vento seems to be the best car for your requirements! Check out GTO's fantastic review.

Cheers!

Thanks, Anekho... I appreciate your welcome. It feels like I AM home.

Photos of my ride will follow soon.

Vento? My opinions after reading GTO's brilliant review is - a) exterior - Typisch Deutsch; b) interior - Deutsch verwechselt; c) the Diesel version - lohnt sich.

Agreed with many BHPians about that monstrosity between the rear passenger seats floor - no one can explain it away.

How about waiting for the MS-SX4 new Diesel that is expected in 2011/Q2?

Regards,

Allinbalance
