New Esteem Ad

Hi Guys,

Am Sonalee from Delhi. Have joined Team-Bhp today. I am really impressed by reading the posts here. Being a car enthusiast, I feel I can get a lot from here. To start off with..I would like to know my esteem Team-BHPians views on the new Esteem Ad.

I feel that the concept was great but Maruti failed in proper execution. The girl in the ad was not as cute...could have been better.

i think that ad is very cute, it is not a soap ad or something that they had to show a cute girl, the girl has shown enough acting to get the message across. i just love the way she asks her dad all the questions specially the "promoting" one. even though personally i dont love esteem as a car so much but i just love the ad.

About the advt, she is fine. But the theme should have been better. I guess its Esteem's last try at sales.

There will always be a better looking person. While I can't say I like the advt, the lil girl in it seems to fit right in.

The message coming across is clear - that the Esteem is an affordable 'beeeeeeeeg' car for most.

About the ad - its crap......the concept and all everything sucks !
Esteem is not a biiiiiiiiiiiggggg car by any means - oops maybe the girl was small so she felt that the esteem was a big car !

Conclusion - Esteem is a big car for kids - for anything above that look elsewhere!

The new esteem comes with tubeless tyres!! (on steel rims though :( )

Its life cycle was over long back.

I don't care about the new Esteem, but I love that Ad. The girl is just perfect, and that way she says ...big car. I am no ad guru, but if the girl was any cuter, it would have taken the audience attention away from her performance. Then people would have talked about how cute the kid was rather than what she says about the car. Just my opinion.

The ad is not all that great..and it not gonna help much in promoting the sales either. These days there are so many cars arnd, and the esteem is gettin a bit too old. It mayb a nice car but there are better ones u can get for almost the same price

exactly this is what I felt when I saw the ad for the first time. esteem has no status in big cars but its good car with boot.
