This forum is a great idea! Glad to join.

Hello Everyone, I stumbled on this forum after a couple of google searches for performance tyres in Mumbai. I was truely amazed to see how many enthusiasts we have in mumbai, who use such forums! I think its pretty awesome and I am glad to be a part of this community.

I am currently 22 and I study in Austin, Texas, about to graduate from my bachelors degree and get into a professional school (most likely medical) here in Texas. Like most of you people, I too feel the thirst for ever increasing horse power and am basically a car-nut! I have gone through a few sweet rides and my favourite one is my current, an E46 330i ZHP (would have posted pics but dont see the option for attachments).

I follow through on a few BMW forums here and now, team BHP is going to be added to the list! I usually visit Mumbai once a year, do you guys organize meets / events etc?

Welcome to TBHP. An E46 330i ZHP sounds really good. Go through the announcement section to enjoy your stay.

Never used image shack, lets see how this goes... the car is a blast to drive, something like this down in mumbai would be ideal! The angel eyes were the most recent mod.

Thank you rudra, image shack worked perfectly! I went through the announcements section, very imformative.

Yes the car from the exterior is almost stock. The wheels are tires are from the factory (surprisingly) and the same dimensions as the E46 M3. All M3 owners are envious of the fact this model has a suspension which is almost like that on the M3 (lower control arms etc) and the car handles a lot like the M3, I am amazed by its limits.

Nice wheels Idnani. In my books, the E46 has THE perfect BMW design philosophy. Bangle sucks.

Hello GTO, nice to meet you. I have read up on many of your posts! This forum is awesome!

You are right on target. The E46 is the pinnacle of the 3 series and every BMW enthusiast knows that. Thats why I did not get the new E90 330i, and this E46 which I have outperforms the E90 in most ways.

Bangle is a good man in my opinion, he has done a lot of good things for BMW. He needs to make them some money and with the competition from Lexus/Acura etc, the E90 was his answer to that. My car was in the dealership for 2 weeks and they gave me an E90 330i sport package as a loaner car. It was pretty nice, and has a lot of new gadgets which are missing in the E46, like a push button start, little posher looking interior and other small stuff, and with 255hp, and even 6 speed in the automatic, it gets going. Its the ugly design which turns it away from most BMW enthusiasts.

Thank you adya33 & sridhar24. The car is definately fun to drive and its putting out close to 265 horses right now, and I think thats pretty much all I can squeeze out of the motor without going to forced induction. The car, compared to its competition does not have much horsepower, but what I love most about it is the handling. I have driven the ZHP on a track, as well as at autocross (aka SOLO II) and I will be definately put up a review on it, and contrast it with the IS300 (lexus)(and pretty modded at the time) which I raced back in 2004. Cheers.

Thats what BMWs are all about. My lower jaw dropped after a comparo between my C Class and a cousins 3 series. Truly the "ultimate driving machine".

I await a report on the track / autocross experiences.
