Hi everyone

Hi everyone out there,

I got to know this site through google search.

I am living in B'lore for last 15 years. I love trekking in mountains, forests, beaches ( I have trekked half of the Karnataks's coastal line). I like listening music. I like Blues. Its my life. I also love Hindustani classicals (vocals, mainly).

May be dissappointing to some of you. I am not a car freak. But, I am a travel freak. I like driving fast on lonely roads. I used to live in Europe (Holland) for sometime. When I came back, I do not like the cars available in India. I look for convenience and power in cars. I am planning to buy a Honda City Vtec. I am not happy with it, but that's the one I can afford in my budget (10 laks).

Have fun!

Welcome aboard Saroj.
Not sure how you can enjoy yourself and contribute on a regular basis in team-bhp, if you are not having enough interest in cars.

Having said that, I should also mention that if you regularly visit the team, you will slowly develop the interest in cars.

So have fun and enjoy the stay.

Please do NOT buy it then. There are several choices in the sub-10 lac budget, and whether you are a car person or not...I am sure you wish to enjoy your automotive experience. Spend some time on Team-BHP to know about other favorite options.

I disagree. There are several members / lurkers who are not necessarily petrol heads but still visit regularly because they enjoy the content, quality and spirit of this community.

Hey Saroj,
welcome aboard and enjoy your stay here.
Like GTO said you don't need to be a petrol head to enjoy this site.
BTW,
why not consider a ford Fiesta 1.6 for the job of the City?

Thank you all

Hi Guys

Thanks a lot for inviting me to the forum.

I did little bit of search here and there and found lots of information. Its a great forum!

As I am also searching for a car, I found the threads on Vtec, Fiesta, Elantra etc. very useful.

Thanks again
Saroj

Welcome aboard Saroj.

There is the Chevvy Optra 1.6 LT Royale with 23 luxury features which you can get in less then 10L OTR. I can assure you, that you will be a happier person then.

Anyways Enjoy your stay.
