Skoda Laura Ambiente TDI MT - Ownership Experience. EDIT: Now sold

The car has got a new set of shoes today, stock size of 196/65/R15 is retained. He has put new OE wheel hub caps as well. It has also undergone the routine service(oil and filter changes) couple of weeks ago.

2.0 TDI came with 5 speed manual only. 6 speed was available only in 1.8 TSI.

Maybe you're confusing it with automatic gearbox.

The 2L TDI in my Laura with 110ps tuning level was with a 5 speed gearbox.

In my Yeti, the 2.0 L TDI in 140ps guise was with the 6 speed gearbox.

I was talking about Laura only, as I was under impression that's what was being discussed. I hadn't read any prior posts before answering.

The confusion is because Jetta 2.0 TDI came with 6 speed Manual and in 140 hp state of tune.
But Laura 2.0 TDI MTs are 5 speed with 110 HP tune, but the L&K DSG came with 140 hp state of tune.

Yes this is what confused me .I thought the Laura had the same drivetrain as the Jetta.
