You say the alloys were touching the rear wheel wells, how much is the width of Alloys? Also do you know their offset? If it written somewhere on the face of the alloy.
Hi emeinenttismo sir,

I will post the pics of the car and interiors in 2 months. I get the car only when service is required. When it comes, its usually very dirty and post service the car comes at night only. And my driver scurries it immediately to the place it is required. So I cannot put up good pics. I hardly ever see it now.

Regarding the interiors, they have held very well. No rattles as already mentioned. The silvet inserts on the console and door handles are the only pieces which have faded. Rest of the interior is fine.

The alloys are 13", zero offset, 5.5 J in width. The width of steel rims which came with the car was 4.5 J. Actually I realized my mistake after a month of putting up the alloys when I drove the car with 5 people on board and some luggage. It used to scrape only when going over uneven surfaces.

I'll put up the pics soon, when it'll complete 7.5k kms in 2 months.

Thanks,
Simple_car

Re: Musings of my first love: Chevrolet Spark!

Dear readers,

The car is now sold. I had to let go of the car with a heavy heart. Hopefully the car will find a good home.
My running mandates a diesel and a rough and tough car. Hence was waiting till the loan of the car was over.

Am going to request the mods to close the thread. If anyone needs any help regarding the spark, please don't hesitate to contact me. I am always willing to help.

Thanks,
Simple_car

Aaahhh! Sad to hear that. Maybe this was the first and the last ownership report without a single pic of the car itself.
Try and source some pics if possible.

Thanks.

The cars axle just broke yesterday. That was the last straw. Can't take it anymore now.

Hey even I have a Spark. How much did you get for yours? I was getting quotes ranging from 80k to 100k.

I don't want to reveal to the public about that. I will send you a PM.

Re: Musings of my first love: Chevrolet Spark!

Here are the pics. I have the car for last few days now. Took a drive after a very long time. Loved it.. Will miss it. Hopefully, sometime in the future, I will buy it and restore it.

The damaged alloy.

The interior of the 90k kms run car. Notice the black colour on the silver inserts.

Another shot of the faded silver inserts

A look of the misaligned bumper. The car did have a big impact. I think its pretty robust. What say?
