Superbly written sir, really glad to read about a Baleno zeta on this forum.
I just had a question and was hoping you might be able to help me out, I recently bought a pre-owned Baleno Zeta 2018, with 18k kms on the ODO, my only issue is that the steering in my car does not re-center automatically after a U-turn, as am a new driver this is pretty upsetting while driving for me, any advice what might be the issue and how I can get it rectified?

Please get the car checked at Maruti. It could be issue related to steering column. However the self centering is lazy in most of the Maruti cars.

Update: Car Sold!

I sold the car after 8 years / 52k km. It was hassle free ownership experience. K12 engine was gem. Resale value was terrific. The depreciation was only 1.5 lakhs after 8 years

Sad to see that you have sold the Baleno as well including your Grand i10.

Since you sold 3 of your cars (S-Cross 1.6, Baleno, and Grand i10), which car are you planning to buy as a replacement for these cars?

And, when can we expect the ownership review of your new Verna 1.5 Turbo MT?

Doctor is turning into a Chef, something interesting is cooking for sure Probably an EV and then it being the first one to be moded like he does for his fuel cars?

Always followed this thread Doc. Not a fan of Baleno however yours was an exception. Like many, awaiting your next update and ownership thread of Verna.
