No issues whatsoever. Also these alloys are not prone to scratches easily. I have driven 2 S-Cross with Momo alloys and both had vibrations at high speeds. But, with MGP alloys no vibrations or anything. I think Hub rings would solve the issue on those Momo alloys anyways. But I have not used them :)

If I may sneak in a reply, based on discussions with Naren, I also changed the alloys on my Blue S Cross to the Brezza alloys (after using the stock alloys for 8k kms).

No issues with the alloys. I have used the alloys for about 4k kms, since then.

The car looks complete now :)

What did you do to the stock alloys?? If you were able to sell them off, could you share the price?

Thanks, Naren.

The stock alloys are stacked up in my office. I plan to put them up for sale online, but I have never gotten around to it.

What might be the price of a new alloy wheel? Around 7K? I'm thinking of buying a new stock for the spare spare wheel so that I could do a 5 instead of 4 wheel rotation for even wear & tear. I'm sure Nexa will not encourage exchange of steel rim with alloy by paying the difference.

Not necessarily this one, but if you come across even a STOCK used alloy wheel, please keep me in mind. Thanks

The last time I checked, the stock alloy was priced at around 6k/ piece. The landing cost to a dealer is Rs. 4850( this was the amount which they offered us in exchange of the stock alloys).

Shashi

Looks great !

What is the cost of Brezza alloys? Even I want to replace the alloys, but bigger issue is of getting rid of stock alloys.

Can you share more details on this ?

I know you tried different things but I couldn't find the final outcome on this thread.

It's just a minor mod. As mentioned on my other thread, we changed the initial part of intake.

1. The initial part of stock intake was removed, it was sucking in hot air.. Placed right behind the radiator.

2. A new custom pipe was put and inlet is placed below the left side headlight area.

3. Final results : Around 8-10 degrees drop in IAT compared to stock intake under similar conditions.

I am planning to do some more changes, mostly would do an opening on fog lamp cover and place the custom intake pipe there.

I have driven more than 18K KM in 1 year. I need to renew insurance policy and it would cost around 32K ( Zero depreciation). The car is doing well and I have no issues to report.

I had shifted to Mysore few months back and had got S-Cross and Kwid here. I am very sad to write this : My fastest car is out and I have to live with my slowest car for next 6 months. I have given my S-Cross to dad.

Congrats for the ONE year mark. Do share the insurance details once you renew it. My vehicle will be due for renewal by 25th May. Have been traveling a bit, will look for renewal options once am back in Bangalore on the 22nd May.

I have decided to go with Maruti insurance itself. The difference is not much ( checked Policy bazaar too).

IDV : 10.01 lakhs

Posting the detailed quote :

I might not opt for zero depreciation this time and save around 6000 bucks. I have given the car to dad and he wouldn't be driving much. I think my S-Cross will have very less running for next one year :D. Dad has Grand I10, Baleno, SX4, 800, Ambassador and S-Cross now lol:

More reasons for you to visit your Dad then and take the crossover for a spin :) Drive safe and keep revving :thumbs up
