The only thing changed in my 2011 Nano ( And that too under warranty ) was AC compressor, apart from that there have been 0 mechanical failures.Have maintained a fairly detailed/regular thread since Day1.

In first 2 years i have done long road trips which are documented here on team bhp.

I could be the lucky one, but i decided to stick to same service centre and same Advisor for first 10 years, in last 2 years i have found a really good FNG and Nano just completed 13 solid years.

I cant find a reason why i should let my car go, as i feel it will run as long as parts are available.

My 2011 nano had run 15k in the first year and then a total of 45 k when we finally sold it off in 2015.

List of parts changed mostly under warranty

Indicator combination switch - twice
Central lock lh rear door actuator - twice
Front condenser fan
Radiator leak due to stone hit - replaced radiator
Ac overhauled twice - this was due to leak in in the underbody pipe that connects the front condenser and rear compressor
Hard clutch , didn't bother replacing before we sold off as tata motors was going through a tough phase and there was no dealer on Trivandrum circa 2015.

New nano also needed ac overhaul twice , both times evaporator was replaced. Driving without ac in a tropical city like Trivandrum is impossible. Imagine a downtime of 2 weeks to procure the parts and disassemble the entire dashboard for this. Needed a backup car when this was in the workshop. So we skipped the backup and ran to maruti. At least no issues and dad is happy.
