FE i get around 12 in the city without AC. With AC I get somewhere between 9-10 kpl. The AT is obviously slower than the MT btu still it fun to drive. Without the AC on its pretty quick and trust me its a boon to drive a smal peepy AT car like the Zen in Mumbai traffic. You can just sweep through traffic with out having the hassles of changing gears. I know manuals are more fun to drive but ATs are practical

nice write-up Dippy. yea i can understand you must be really having fun driving an AT in mumbai roads.

one thing i really didnt know that there was an AT version of the maruti 800

hey dippy nice write up man.with traffic like this sometimes i feel an AT is better but then again with MT you can rip it apart !!!

i agree with you.
Specially in a diesel merc.
It is soo bloody cool.
Oh and do you plan to upgrade to a honda city VTEC or a city 1.5 Auto?

Yeah they used to make a few of those long time back in the late 80s. They came with a 2 speed auto box

Stratos,
we had a nexia but sold it off.
Had a cielo, Had a zen, Had a siena D and am selling of the esteem.
Anyway Back to Topic,

Dippy,
does your zen have Power Windows in the Front or even central locking?

Dippy, well written and the car looks very nice (especially in the rear shot).
I wouldnt want to drive a AT car myself, but having driven a few I know they can be a boon in traffic conditions like our cities.
