Its not just the cover @anky, but the entire assembly with wiring and the folding operations and switch! So unless done by MASS, it would be risky. But I am going to try and see if that is a possibility.

There will be a couple of things before this is attempted

• Whether the new Mirrors (Foldable type) will fit on the previous Gen SX4 - Holes, notches, perfect fit. Don't forget the the foldable type mirrors will also have a motor for the folding operation and hence there would be changes to the design of the hinges etc that may make retrofitting a tad difficult unless someone has successfully done that?
  
• Since the usual Electrically operated mirrors had adjustment as a sole function (non folding), it would merely send signal to the motor behind the mirror to move as per inputs from the joystick switch on the door.
  
• With Folding as a new function, you will not only need to do a bit of wiring but will also have to buy and install the switches meant for folding as well.
  
• If there is a separate switch for Fold/unfold, where will that fit on the Door pad? Will that require one to cut the door panel to accommodate?
