BTW isn't that the grille that is being used in all the new Chevrolets - Beat, Cruze, etc. It suits the Tavera perfectly IMO.
Thanks aparth. Yes, this is the new used on all new generation chevys. I just wanted to see if it suits Tavera to give it a new generation look. Thanks for your honest opinion, friend.

Yet another photoshop images of Tavera with the new grill - Front view. I managed it with the Chevy Cruze Grill. Please give your suggestions / comments if this would look good. If so, I would be interested in fitting this new Grill on Tavera.
Below I have attached the original picture and the modified one.

Tavera interior picture. But the new Tavera Neo has got beautiful interiors. There is a lot of change in the dash in that.

Why isn't there any noise from GM regarding the CRDi mill in the tavera? Or with mods to the turbo perhaps BS IV norms can be met. Meanwhile i bumped upon one hilarious review

Tavera

The fog lamp glss on the left side of the vehicle is looking odd.I think water went inside.

Your Vehilce is very nice. The engine which was there is similar to the Isuzu engine.I have seen the engine type while reqorking my Isuzu G1 Engine.Only little diff.between the engines.

Mileage is very good,Even my uncle was owning this vehicle.

The upcoming new Tavera which is going to be launched with in one year span of time will not have this engine,BS-IV norms was not satisfie with the current engine.

The next engine is Rover engine for Tavera.Very silent than this engine, with all ECU and latest technolgy updated in it.

We are looking forward for this engine,I have already seen it and it was very nice.Sonalika is having this engine in their car i think. But this is the engine where there is no too much noise.

Re: Chevy Tavera after 60000 kms

An update on my Tavera. It completed 78000 kms and now 4 years old in April. It developed some noise in the front right wheel and there was severe play in the steering, a squeaking sound coming from the rear left side while while making turn and the brake pads had worn out.
So I gave it for complete job and rectify all these problems. The parts replaced were Rotor (ASM1612), Lever (ASM2265), Kit Pad (ASM1937E) and overall cost came to Rs.10853/-. Apart from regular service, this is the only major work I had to do on my Tavera in the last 4 years.
I am really a proud owner of Chevy Tavera.

Re: Chevy Tavera after 60000 kms

I wish to upgrade the tyres of my Tavera. The present OEM size of Tavera is 205/65 R15. I want to upgrade this to 255/70/R15. I would please like to know from the members if this 255/70/R15 would suit the present wheel rim.
Please advice me on the above.

Re: Chevy Tavera after 60000 kms

I had photo shopped my Tavera with a new facelift with Cruze/ Beat type grill in February 2010 on Team BHP in the same thread on the 1st page. Photos as attached below. Now I am surprised to notice from the AUTOSHOW 2012 photos that Chevrolet has showcased the new Tavera and it looks the same as the one photo shopped by me in Feb 2010. (Photo attached of the new Tavera as displayed in Autoshow 2012).
