Needed to find a good wheel alignment guy , with some call to my circle came to know there is a good guy named (Sanjay) at Raj nagar IOC petrol pump who does wheel alignment and also a specialist in adjusting/increasing the turning radius. (Also a specialist for imported car too)
Me and ITmylife took our safaris. Huge rush , we had to wait around 1 hour before our turn came.
Got adjusted the turning radius,Tyre Rotation,Alignment, balancing, now its fantastic, U turn is a breeze. Earlier it used to be a pain, i had to do a U turn from middle lane , now i can do it easily from the right lane. :D

Factory Specs for turning radius of Safari is 3.5 turns either side net Lock to Lock.
Anything more is dangerous and anything less is horror :D
Sometime back, I got the TASS to correct the turning radius to factory specs

Rahul, since you are saying they corrected was it incorrect and can we also approach TASS to correct the same, I would like to know if anyone else tried the same with TASS. I remember someone in this forum maybe Amit had mentioned he had also got the turning radius reduced.
Has anyone else tried to reduce the height of the SAFARI.

Tested the newly acquired ELM-327 cable and 2 obd scanner software Scanmaster and PCMScan. Scanmaster didnt work with safari may due to mode 6 command. it was giving error not supported error.
Then tried the PCMscan software. Bingo, it worked. 32 pid test were supported. here are few screen shots. Will devote more time on a weekend.
Pcm was disconnecting while check O2 sensor.
Here are few screen shots taken from mobile.
First screen shot is of Scanmaster-elm
Screenshots of pcmscan

My beast went for the 3rd service at 28810 kms. No major problem. 2 years is gonna complete on 31 Jan 2011. Got it serviced from Autolinks Vasant Kunj. There washing is pathetic but pretty satisfied with other mechanical jobs.
Major Job done -
1. Engine oil replacement
2. Oil filter
3. Coolant change - 6 liters - Time bound - 2years
4. Brake oil change -
Does only 300ml only required for Clutch & Break lines ?
5. Fuel Filter - 1573/-
Earlier it used to be around 2.5 k
Labour charged
1. Coolant flush - Rs 1000/-
2. Std Chk - 360/-
3. Brake cleaning - 225
Total Bill - Rs 7325/-

Congratulations in completing nearly 30K kms in 2 years. That's pretty consistent mileage that you have been clocking.
Early this week took a test drive of Safari 2.2 VVT which a colleague bought and found it to be much more peppier than the older 3.0L version.
Incidentally, while driving I looked at the odometer and did a double take to see my colleague had clocked 4700kms within 20 days from purchase:Shockked:
Btw, I noted a small glitch during my test drive which is also confirmed by him that while in 4th gear the car stalls momentarily ( nothing happens when you press the accelarator) and then picks up momentum at around 40kmph. This has not been observed in other gears.
Any idea what could be the issue so he can get it rectified in his next service?

It is same powerloss issue we all are facing in new gen Safari's. Occurance of it is bit erratic but generally comes between 1600 - 1900 RPM. It is observed in all gears.
There is no solution as such from TASS about this issue. So many reports are there in Tata Safari technical thread. I also mentioned in my ownership thread.
@v&v Nice looking Safari LX. For Alloys fitting did you require to cut the fender?
