Re: Advice on buying Used Land Cruiser

Hello All, I am new to the forum (old spectator though). I am in the market for a Petrol SUV. I was looking to buy a Fortuner Petrol and then stumbled on a LC200 V8 Petrol 2014 (aftermarket facelifted) selling for 64L. I believe the price is high but afterall it’s all about demand and supply and I don’t find any LCs in petrol that can be used in Delhi/NCR. Trying to seek advice if going for this LC would be a really bad decision? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum,

It's great that you are considering a Full size Petrol SUV in this day and age. Assuming the LC200 will be used in the NCR, you will have only 5 more years of permitted usage of the car. The Fortuner with its fit and finish is very similar to the LC of 2014.

You would be better off with a late 2019 or 2020 Luxury German SUV, even flagship Mercs such as the X166 GLS 400, V166 GLE 400 are all going under 70 lakhs in NCR now. These cars are gas guzzlers but will sure last you a decade till the lifetime tax expires.

Happy Shopping

Cheers
Cliff
