Yes, did you get the car?

One more thing. If you buy the car, you`ll be compelled to put up a comprehensive ownership review here on TBHP, !

Yes, I did!

Thanks to all the awesome fellow BHPians, I've got hold of this beautiful piece of machine ... and guess what it was love at first sight even for everyone else in my family ... They just can't get enough of it

As, for the detailed ownership review - it would be a pleasure. I have too many things to share.

As of now I need to do some running around to fix a few things that need attention in the car - the suspension being the most important and the one that's keeping me from fully enjoying this suave beast in all it's glory.

Keep watching this space ...

Till later

Ps - I owe this buy to this forum. Couldn't have been possible for sure without the help.

Congrats on the V8, Prabhpreet! Considering that she's been well maintained, this car (like most other Lexus') will probably outlast you . Have fun, drive safe and do share a detailed ownership report for the rest of us to drool on.

Congratulations prabhpreet.

I found out about your purchase a few days ago, but i thought it would be better if you broke the news yourself! Good deal i say.

p.s. you better get that suspension sorted before driving at all, otherwise your car will have all sorts of rattles and noises later (even with the new suspension).

Thanks GTO! I'd love to have her around forever.
Shall be sharing my ownership experience in some time. Placed my order for the stickers

Thanks Gordon. I guess ashwani told you about it?
Yeah, it's being parked since purchase, except for the visits to the workshops and a few lil show rides

Congrats Prabhpreet for buying a Lexus.
Believe me, a decently maintained Lexus -especially a LS is a lot better then a lot of Premium cars.

Well, I wonder how many in Galaxy Toyota know what is a Lexus. Not doubting the credibility, I think a import like Lexus should be serviced at a station that atleast has heard of Lexus.
Lakozy- Okhla have been servicing these imports for quite some time now and I personally would recommend them- though I still wont get a penny for this referral.

Toyota India might not be that well versed with Lexus.

Spare parts of these cars are not a concern. A good workshop will ensure that you get the spares in time. There are importers of these spare parts in places like Palika Market (opp. Hyatt- Bikaji Cama Place)

I have phoned up quite a few of them and have got a consistent response in the affirmative. The only concern I have is how genuine are the parts? Is one supplier any different from the other?

She's teaching me the lesson of patience. Have been waiting for some suspension parts for over three weeks now. The supplier says they are stuck at customs.
In the meantime, all other things requiring attention have been taken care of. Day I get the parts, it would be ready to roll the very next day ... and with that shall start my ownership review
