Bangalore: Custom Car Show & Concert - 14th September, 2014

I didn't see any mention of this on the forum so I thought I should post it: Sorry if there's already a thread about this.

Following is the info I have from the organizers, who also happen to be good friends of mine and have been a part of the car aftermarket business for a really long time now:

" MoC Street Customs Car Show & Concert-Bangalore" - scheduled for the 14th of September 2014. at Supernova Arena, Yelahanka. The event will prove to be the first of its kind in India.

The first of the six city tour will kick off in Bangalore "MoC Street Customs Car Show & Concert" Bangalore 2014., is expected to attract a minimum gathering of over 10000 aficionado's. A motley gathering of families, Auto buffs and Party goers., The All day event is construed in two parts., the first half of the event will feature the Showdown of Cars in the various categories they would compete viz., Performance/Audio Installation / 4x4 off-roaders / Interior and Exterior /Games and Contests. And the second part will be devoted purely towards the concert, with a lineup of Well Known Indian & International DJ's.

At this point of time we have a confirmed participation of 170 cars for a limited participation of 200 entries. we are being partnered by Citibank, Radio Indigo 91.9, KS Energy Drink, Myra Wines, Race Dynamics and a few more noteworthy brands who are on the verge of finalization.

The event will be judged by leading technicians from the Auto Industry and by top Rally Drivers and socialites. Also in attendance will be the HOG (Harley Owners Group)- Bangalore.,

Greetings!

We're extremely excited to be a part of this event, the organisers are pulling out all the stops to ensure that this is unlike anything the country has witnessed before.

We will be handling the performance section of the show, searching for Bangalore's most powerful car which will be tested on our indigenously manufactured dynaRD dynamometer.

There are a number of categories for the performance section, however due to time constraints we have limited the number of cars on the dyno to a maximum of 20 entries on an invitation basis which we have extended to all prominent tuning houses in the city.

Our previous dyno drag at India Bike Week - Goa was a huge success (featured below) and we hope to make this even better with the nothing but the best tuner cars this city has to offer!

Err really? From the pics i dont see anything which is tastefully moded. Love that Civic EG and that Patrol. Rest of em (from the pics posted) is just normal.

Hope there were some good cars !

Well the event was ok. Could have been much better. Anyways, the turbo Vtec from race concepts made the most horses for an Indian car on the dyno. We made 224 whp @ 17 psi of boost in one of our runs. The car has the potential to bring out more, the rd dyno did not have a fan to cool in the intercooler hence there was a major heating issues with all the cars that ran on the dyno.

I saw a report on the event on news this morning. It did look good with lots of cars with modifications and was wondering how TBHP missed this

@ LBM - the winner was Sarvanna in an Innova. 147 dB measured with an AudioControl RTA (not Term Labs) He was running 4 x 12s in an enormous box.
