Hi,
Does anyone have any experience in changing the interior lighting (green) of Skoda Octavia? The color of choice is blue or red (like VW). I have read up Briskoda that I can use a Golf kit to replace OE ones - problem is sourcing and finding someone qualified to fit it. Are there any other ways to do so? I do not want to use any filters to the existing lighting for sure. :)
Ideas please on how to do this and who can do it in Chennai? Also, how much will it cost?
Thanks,
-P.
Bump. I'm interested in this as well.
any ideas guys???
even i'm interested.......
Octavia2, do u mean the Interior Speedometer lightings? or the car interior lighting? I thought the interior lighting of the Octavia was a normal yellow glow bulb like any other car...?
Mr. Monkey here is obsessed with lights - flashing, glowing etc. He likes his lights and has jazzed up his RS with a few of them. Strange he hasn't posted here yet.
Was wondering the same thing as Rtech.. how come Mr GreenLightsInMyFootwellThatStayOnAllTheTime Mokey hasn't put up a picture/post/comment..
Paging Mr Monkey.... Mr Monkey to the white house phone please.....
two damn neon footwell lights and i am the official Light man !!!
DAMN damn damn again
ooooooh forgot to add red neon in the boot !!!
well its not that simple changing the lightsin theese cars now days ... they have started using more and more of pcb based leds which are quite tough to replace ...
So where does that leave us? Possible not possible? If yes, how and how much?
Thanks,
-P.
If we could source the Golf Kit....would the service centre help us out with the installation...or would they be all fussy about it....
Hey Octy 2 you have installed BlueVision 100/90 bulbs...would u kindly help me out with how they performing and the cost, brand etc.
Service station and installing? Yeah right! I have to give them instructions and guide them through the VAS most of the time.
Blue Vision 100/90 is awesome - I am very happy with it. The brand is Phillips. Check out this link:
