R or L is nothing but polarities of the battery. Technically you can use either R or L, as long as you know which end of the battery cable goes into the positive or negative terminal. (Mix this up you can blow somes fuses and maybe kill the ECU ) stupid: To Avoid all this please stick to the correct polarity. The correct Battery for a swift is a 65AH. I think its an L Battery (Please check this) If your current battery is a L then your next battery should also be L polarity. PRO,FLO,GLO All are pretty much the same except the warranty period on these batteries. Keep in mind a 80ah battery may not fit in your engine bay. Very much against an 80Ah, Your alternator may not be able to charge the battery fully. |

I bought the same battery for my Esteem ten days ago. Paid 3.5K for it. The old battery was an AC Delco which was on its last legs after working hard for 50 months now. |

I think you have answered your own question. May I add, that the way things are structured the actual period where the warranty may of real use is shorter. Why, all calculations of the pro-rata valuation are done on the MRP and the replacement will also have to be on MRP. |

Have had good experience with Exide OE and Matrix which lasted 5 years on the first car. Now on Amaron Pro for more than 2 years and no problem. The other car is on basic Amaron which had come as OE and have lasted 54 months till now. Although it shows some sign of weakness it has not refused to start. Basically even a low end OE battery can also last for 5 years. However I suppose for peace of mind we also accept claims such as better build, higher CCA, longer warranty etc., and also the mind set higher the cost better the quality although it cannot be said universally. |

Checked the prices for Amaron Pro and Flo. Works out to 3.8k and 3.5k respectively for the Esteem. Have opted for the Pro considering the small price difference and hoping it to translate to more life and peace of mind. My Civic is on Amaron PRO as well and its been close to 2 years since I changed it. Has been a gem till date |

What is the date of manufacture you could get. Few weeks ago I was inquiring and could match the price of battery bhai but the date of manufacture was July 2014. I am being prepared in case I have to change the battery that is 54 months fails suddenly. Thanks. |

(http://www.batterywale.com/) is recommending AAM-FL-566112060 model (60 Ah), while some other sites (http://www.batterybhai.com/, http://www.powerbazzar.com/ etc) have a 50Ah replacement (AAM-FL-550114042). The price difference is about 1300 between the models. Is it worth paying 1300 extra for the 60Ah model (The OEM is Exide, 50Ah)? Or should I stick with the 50 Ah model itself? |

Anoop - Do check out if there is significant size difference between both. I had some troubles while fixing a higher Ah on Accent earlier. Height especially. While having auxiliary lights and some other additional stuff like horns etc on car, a higher capacity battery should help certainly. Your future DIYs could also be accommodated with ease if it justifies the investment :) |
