For Mumbai you need to call 326-4000. You can either take an appointment to visit one of their workshops or they will send the mobile van. They charge Rs. 100 extra for the mobile van. They can do cashless with most of the insurance companies. You will pay the deductible + a little bit more. Typically your out of pocket shouldn't be more than Rs. 1,000.

Any reviews for the work of Windshield Experts here in Bangalore?

My glass is a but scratched, mostly due to running the wiper on a dry glass by mistake.

Are there any other options too?

Incidentally, my Palio's front windshield also has a long crack, due to a stone that was dispensed by a truck. I would like to know about windshield experts too, or any other options.

I had a crack on ANHC windsheild caused due to stone hitting from truck ahead. I had to replace it, I got it done from WSE in Madiwala and would highly recommend them. It was hassle free, advantage you get

windshield experts can repair scratched / with bubbles windshields depending on the type of damage. I had to replace my palio's windshield which developed a cr_ack.

Original windshield was by Saint Gobain - now it has AIS/Asahi with One Year warranty.

My Hyundai Tucson's windshield was broken thanks to concrete lump falling from a construction site...Windshield experts quoted me more than Hyundai service center! May be because Tucson is a rare vehicle and OEM/replacement parts are not available freely...

I am not sure what Fiat would charge me for the Linea's windshield... But my local Windshield quoted around 6500 for it.

I decided to stick with the stock windshield and live with the smallish bubbles.

I've found windshield of my santro now has lots of small scratches which are like in someone rubbed it with sand round and round, may be its my own fault, but i can't remember treating my car like this in last 4 years.
Since a month or so, I now feel driving in night is little difficult due to these.

Is there a remedy to remove those tiny light scattering effect from windshield ?

For my Indica Vista Windscreen I was offered a quote of 5551 Total amount and I would have to pay 860 rs if i claim insurance.

MANTI, Nowadays you get good secondhand or maybe almost neww looking maruti 800 glass for less then 500/- in chor bazar mumbai.

Thanks for the info guys. I got a small chipped section in my WS due to a flying pebble. It is out of the way but I worry about it like a teenage girl worries about a pimple :D

Will head to WE shop someday.

Now I know how the pimple cream ads prey on the fears of the beauty conscious... :)

PS: What exactly do they do to remove a chipped section? Resin?

Small chip of Windshield from a hit on highway (object not identified) was left for two weeks without attending to it. Now started to grow and Windshield (WE) expert says "Change the glass".

Do NOT wait to call WE, do it immediately.
