and performance = freeflow + airflow + plugs + coils? or turbos too??

HAFI, no offense, but if I were starting out on something like performance mods, I wouldn't let it be publicly known that I'm a newbie in the area. Maybe the work is going to be done by your friends, but the posts here would give the general impression that the people doing the mods are very very new at this, and need to get their feet really wet before they turn out some good work.

Nobody would entrust their car to somebody they didn't consider an expert. Nobody.

And about ICE, the equipment can be bought from anywhere. The install is what clinches the deal. The install, and the post-install tuning. If you have people who can do this really well, you're definitely in business. There is a BIG, BIG demand-supply gap for good installers in Cochin and probably in all of Kerala. Nearly all the guys here (very very few exceptions) are good at nothing but the most basic of installs (HU + speakers). Somebody who does a really good job will get instant word-of-mouth.

In case you got me wrong... I was serious, not joking... All there is in trivandrum is some small accesories shops... For small and medium ICE installs... And some performance mods like k&N and likes... There is no proper shop for performance mods...

Anyways... Never mind...

PS: Am not running the state machinery anymore...

hey the people intending to start this firm are real experts both in ICE and the performance mods and its good na to give a good publicity for the firm and not only that if most of them are aware of it they neednt roam around the streets looking for a good mod shop and i dint post it for any bussiness intention...its just make aware of the guys here in team bhp about such things happening .....

Different cars and different requirements lead to different designs. I hope your friends know what they are doing.

I have seen couple of installs in Trivandrum and Cochin. ICE and Performance ones

A leading ICE installer from Tvm was sued by a firm for selling fakes

Another leading ICE + performance shop installer didnt know how to fit a conical!!!

When I was gonna ICE my car these guys havent heard of or seen a compo!

and when I had one send down these guys had to call a freelancer to install it!

now I am on another ICEing. Tell me which is better Blau PA275 or LW2.240 to run a 3 way compo.

hey crazy driver, why dont we start someting in tvm??? there are only two shops over here which provide mild tuning stuff like k&n s and FFE's and they dont even know the basics of performence!!!

Seriously speaking, Am still a student only... Am doing automobile engineering only, and plan to stick to the field... However, some rich friends of mine seem very interested in the business side... Lemme see...
