Hi All,


I am not certain and unable to find thread on piant for brake pads.

I am seeking to get the barke pads & drums painted in either Red or Yellow, I have a black Ikon and for the same suggest the best color thats appealing thru the alloys and paint( that can resist rust, heat).

Hi guys, just last week, I was going through some threads & saw this really gorgeous brake caliper, painted blue, & with Corvette lettering. I remember enough to say that it had been posted in response to somebody's advice that blue wasn't an ideal choice for brake calipers. Does anybody remember which post it was ? It was really awesome !

i had painted my painted my disc brake clipers and drums long back

it was just normal paint used to paint the gates and the grills of houses

i used a shade of red called germany red

I have read a lot of positive review of this product. I am planning to get this kit from USA through one of my relative. I will post further details once I get it here.

I got my car's brake calipers and wheel hubs painted when I got a set of new wheels.
Simple task: There's a spray can you get - different ones for painting the calipers and wheel hub. I preferred Silver/Chrome for calipers and black for the hubs.

First, you clean the surface by spraying kerosene and then with sand paper and prepare for painting. Then spray a thin coat of primer, wait for it to dry and spray the preferred color on the target parts.

Let dry naturally for 30 mins and you'r done.
