you want it to be yellow or what?lol: 6k is white and when you see it from the outside itll have a slight tinge of blue.

Never replied to the poll, as the bulbs were playing on me.
Thanks to BlueRaven, got them changed and could see the advantage already.

However, looks like more focussing is needed, would post snaps after focussing is done.
ThumbsUp for me.

Objective for next appraisal: Vikram_d's setup copy :D - Halogens for Hi Beam and combining Low in Hi.

My setup is changing by the day. I now have 4300k bulbs in low beam and 6000k in high beam. Will be changing hi beam also to 4300k shortly. A world of difference between the two in the road visibility department. The 6000k bulbs will move to the Hella lights in front and also maybe to the puddle lamps on the bumper.

Guys, can we have interior lighting pics, in this thread, of all the setups mentioned in the poll?

Yours is one sweeeeeet car ;) 4300k eh try to post some pics like Mag said.

So finally 4300K is catching up with the folks.

I've had 4300K hids in my headlights for a very long time

Recently got projector foglamps with 3000K hids in them.
3000K light is to die for, brighter and usable than anything else on the road.

6K should be a little more bluish/violet na?? Btw, is this on a stock HL assembly??

Yes the stock HL assembly of the santro has 4300K lights. I also have an Innova with 4300K hids in the HLs and the Innova's reflectors are amazing in terms of focus.

The cut off line can be clearly seen with the hids also, which is rare in other reflector setups.

Can somebody post pics from the inside with the projector setup?? With and without HID's??

Hi Guys,

I am also a proud owner of Swift (DDIS), and i am very much interested in getting Projector Headlights for my little beast, could you let me know where I can get these lights.
I am from Bangalore and may be Vikram you can help meplease:.

Contact Blueraven316 on the forum. I got my lights from him.

Anybody have an idea where I can get the Projector Headlights in Pune?

slight OT-

I know that stretch of road :). Its behind Jayanagar National college innit ? . That is one dark stretch of road - ideal to test the throw.

Problem with 6000K and thereabouts is the diffusion in rain and fog. My 6000K matiz setup has the same issues.:deadhorse

I am planning to source HID kits from the US. Friend is coming down, so might as well ask him to get them. Found pretty decent deals on eBay. I have a couple of queries.

1: Angel eyes take H1 for both Low and High ?
2: Are HIDs in general 35w or 50/55w ? I saw bulbs with both specs.
3: The Fog lamps in Swift are H7 or H8 ?

I had a talk with Vikram. The HIDs he got through eBay are working perfectly. So guess there is no harm in trying them out :)
