My project E36!
(

Enjoy the car Abix. As a fellow E36 owner I can say that its a fun car regardless of bodystyle or engine. I'd say give it a cool and understated look and not too loud and pimped.
Did some minor tweaking to your car to give it that aluminium bodied look. Don't know if this is logistically feasible to build or not, just tried it out to see how an aluminium bodied E36 would look like.
here is the sc schnitzer color combo, the wheels remain the same though:
something tells me badboy is the one having the most fun on this thread.
Abix can you sum up what you have really decided?
a) Wide body for sure
b) color schemes?
c) color /type alloys?
@ Ironwolf: Im still in two minds on whether to just flare the wheel arches or go for a complete widebody. Both options seem enticing, i guess in the end it woudl totally depend on my budget. Colour schemes, i had narrowed down to either a blue or a grey, inclining more towards a darker grey. Alloys, by far the toughest choice, i would love to pick up a set of deep dish rims on a staggered setup, but they are ridiculously expensive and not readily available here. I heard konigs have now arrived in India, so looking into that option also. As you can see, nothing is really for sure, but i think we'll get there soon enuff. Cheers

It looks quite similar to the Mansory paintjob for the Bentley continentals. Looks pretty good though!
And buddy, it's AC Schnitzer, not SC Schnitzer.:p

It reminds me of the new Logan paintjob too.

that was a TYPO, was in a hurry..spotted it after half an hour and could not edit it.:D
Abix i would suggest you to keep the car in single colour Metallic shiny red or Blue, with a decent skirtings,wide-body will be a pain to maintain, the money left you can go for some original BBS rims, try to retain the royale look of the car, rather than converting it into a Royale sports car :D

Agree with
ramie2400 on this - the widebody will change the persona of the car. IMHO the BMW is a statement in itself. Skirtings, excellent paint job & GOOD ALLOYS would do more for the car than a wide body kit. :)
That would be my take on this - but at the end of the day it is your car. As for the paint - Deep Blue Mettalic & Dark Grey would make it look classy & the Bright Mettalic Red will make a sporty statement..
Your call....Cheers :thumbs up
@ricky_63: sir ur inputs are always appreciated. im in two minds of whether to go widebody or simple bodykit, its like a child in me is screaming widebody and the 24 year old is saying keep it simple. Paint job i dont even want to think about, because both blue and grey seem quite enticing. Red i most likely won't go for since ive already had the evo in red.
keep it simple, with good paint job, like a dark one with very expensive rims, lower kit . You do have a sports evo -:D dont you
widebody widebody widebody...:D..especially because the fabricator is autopsyche..:)
Keep it simple.... E36 anyday looks meaner in simple cloths rather then any kinda fashionable clothes :)
Please don't even think of getting it aluminium bodied look.. !!!please:
Looks like this thread has turned into a Photoshop thread.:)
Coming to the point, I'd say go Keep it simple and sleek.
Go for a 2-door conversion. Black paintjob,Bigger and fatter wheels.
Go for a simple kit that would make the car look a bit sporty.
Here are some pics I got from the net,
This is what I was talking about
:
But if you really want a wide body maybe something like this will look good:
I really loved the 1st black BMW. It looks mean and sporty.
