H4 will fit both the cars. :)

And yes, phillips blue vision and crystal vision come with a set of pilot lamps.

H4 has 2 filaments meant for highbeam and low beam.

If you want a genuine HID like appearance, i would strongly recommend you to go for Phillips Diamond vision bulbs.

Phillips blue vision - around Rs:700
Crystal vision - around Rs1000
Diamond vision- around Rs 1200.

I think its all cock and bull spread by these Bulb makers.
Just another marketing gimmick.

The Bluish white light is there only for the "cool look" factor - by making it look like Xenons.

Our eyes anyway are pretty insensitive to blue spectrum.
Yellow and green - those are two colors that our eyes are most sensitive to.

If you want better visibility at night - get lamps that make more of green and yellows, not more of blues.

For ppl who have feel that Bluish lights actually improve night vision - there is one word for it - placebo.

No it will do the opposite on the contrary. If you're buying a halogen bulb for best visibility buy a bulb which has a color temperature less that 5000K. (Yes i am talking about halogen bulbs here and not HID). Lights with blue tint might look brighter will not give you usable light.

Bro, i think you are confusing with the HID and halogen bulbs!!

These days HID's do came with the solenoids to move the bulb up and down so it looks like a low/high reflection,this is because if we use different filaments in HID for high/low then we need 4 ballasts because HID's need high power to glow(if you know if you on/off HID without attaining the temperature then it will blow bulbs and ballasts)
where normal halogen bulbs doesn't need that high temperature to start off!!!

IMO white lights will give more visibility when there is no other like like streetlamps around since when there are other sources the white light tends to diffuse with then.

Pure white light is not really effective on the highways. Opt for lights with a hint of yellow, completely avoid those bluish white and extreme white types.

H4 is a dual filament, and has a metal cup like thing in the bulb over the low beam filament. When its on low beam, one filament lights up, when its on high beam the other does - and when you "flash" both filaments light up.
