Bought it from Auto Fusion (Thoqueer), Koramangala. This is near the Legends of Rock pub. He had other varieties too and My Shaldan, some other ones similar to My Shaldan tins and various imported car perfumes.

Thanks now I've another place to buy from.
Next on my list is ambi pur vanilla. Smelt today in my friends polo. Very good one. Areon still showing no signs of finishing.

Got a little tree "new car scent".
Doesn't have that characteristic new car smell but its nice. And looks pretty cool too.

Bought Dr Marcus Senso Deluxe Ocean Gel Car Perfume from HyperCity..Smells awesome !!! Just like Davidoff Cool Water !!

Had tried the Dr Marcus Spray Ocean sometime back and had really liked it ! Im happy these guys came up with the Gel also :)

Can you tell me, where one might be able to get senso in chennai? Can we order it online?

How do you guys rate Senso vs Areon vs My Shaldan?

Senso gel is available on flipkart and snapdeal.

EDIT: Got my answer on My Shaldan vs Areon from post 351 on the last page. How is Senso vs others?

The glade perfume posted by someone else earlier in this thread was too strong for my taste :(

That was me I guess (EDIT: BHPian rubicon too). So you mean that the Areon and others are milder than the Glade? Then I should stick to Glade itself. I need that much strength, but the note is not breathtaking that was why I thought about a change.

.

I'd say Areon is at least better than my shaldan as in its stronger so in someway I feel is paisa vasool as you can always smell the product in case of Areon.

I've not tried senso yet. The godrej aer ones are good too. I love the smell of the blue one.

Has anyone tried My tone My grace? I used it and feel it is a good one. Tried Godrej Aer this time and its crap. Will buy my tone grace again. If anyone wants to try its here on tradus

Hi, I'm a loyal Shaldan user, but of late, I feel somehow that either I'm buying fakes ones (unlikely) or perhaps my brain has got used to the smell - becomes noticeably weaker after two weeks or more.

Does the Senso Deluxe fit into a standard cup holder? If it doesn't, it'll be a deal breaker..

^^ What about all other materials within the car then?

For your logic to be good enough, there must be no dashboard plastics, etc, which emit even more harmful carcinogenic odorless gases.

I have used My Shalden and Areon Ken and I prefer the latter though it's synthetic and not fruity.

I have been using those Tropi Cool sprays that are supposedly made from natural products. Im quite happy with it as a singe spritz in the vents lasts for a couple of days.

Personally prefer potpourri - if you can't easily buy some, do this...
Leave some rose petals (or the petals of any other aromatic garden flower) to dry, wrap in a small muslin bag, and hang it to your rear view mirror.
Or
If you like to get the fresh stuff, put some fresh flowers on the rear parcel tray and on the dash - that should be sufficient to keep the car smelling nice at least for a few hours.
Never really liked the synthetic stuff...after a while one can't "smell" them anymore - either because our olfactory senses have got used to them or because they have simply evaporated.

Bought about 50 gm of coffee beans and wrapped a handful in a tissue and placed them in the car . The smell is excellent and all this at a very very low cost. 18 rupees for 50 gm of coffee beans :)

Definitely a must try if you like the smell of coffee.

Its always implied that "as far as possible choose natural products" meaning where there is an easy choice available. In air fresheners, its a simple choice (infact a better one I feel), but one cant easily have the choice of not having plastics in their car.

agree: got it 45 days back and still has 10% left in it, but it has no smell at all !! A total waste of money. Bought My shaldan Lime, yet to try it.

Bought Godrej Aer Twist Air - Fresh Lush Green recently, yet to try it.

Smells like Liril soap
