I wonder how long the paintwork will last in the summer heat. But all in all, I would say it makes the interior look fresher and lighter than the all-pervading black original. Just don't look at the wood finish.
Yes Sir !

Even the wood finish is paint.

Really appreciate the overall effect you've created with a lot of hard work. Perhaps the colour and grain pattern of the wood finish in the Swift is not particularly to my liking, though I like the wood finish in the Santro much better.

How is the paintwork holding up in the other cars over the years? May I request you to post some current pics in those threads?

i guess the beige color on top of the dash will reflect on the wind screen.
i like the seat covers but NO-NO the beige color on the dash. balck/ grey looks more better.

the wood finish is ghastly. Beige looks fine otherwise , and of course there is the steering wheel

Wooden finish is yuck. Beige colour looks neat - seats and dash make a good pair. The steering looks out of place.

@KP: How are you getting the carbon fibre finishing done in your Getz?

Kevin Peterson.
What have you done.
The seats looks good.
Even the beige looks acceptable
The wood looks hideous and so does the steering.

The wooden bit really spoiled it! Otherwise just about ok, though i will not accept it even if its for free, i somehow love dark interiors in all cars.

KP, what kind of paint is used on the dash? Is it normal paint or something special for the plastics, does it last long and without generating any funny smell when the plastics bake in the sun?

The i10 dash which is beige in colour reflects on to the windscreen on sunny days, the reflection looks like a fine layer of dust on the inside of the windscreen. Considering redoing the top part of the dash in a dark colour.

Edit:
This is what i'm talking about, pic is of the esteem dash you posted in another thread. Glass looks like there's a layer of dust in it.

Wood Pannel Finish

IMHO, the beige colour is looking good and so are the seat covers. The wood pannel however does not really look like wood. Looks more like a shade of militiary green/brown.

In the last swift i owned, i had got wood coloured panelling (plastic) done, costed me extra 2k from the dealer (Bimal in Bangalore). The colour was natural wood, more like a "sheesham" finish you see in the Toyota Corolla's and that really looked classy.

Guys !!
Guess what, the owner was completely de-moralized after reading all your comments.
Now, he's getting a different shade wood finish.

Pics coming soon.

Is that an Esteem or a Baleno? Looks like the latter to me.

Make sure its in a dark shade of brown, and something similar to chocolate flavoured icecream this time.
