I always wanted to do it, I was not able to make a decision. That night made me go for it. Now where is suttakambi?

Wow! Sir, I would like to hear the sound of your ride after that exhaust. It looks stunning. But,is there any drop in fuel efficiency after that modification.

As mentioned earlier, the drop in fuel efficiency is only because one tends to rev the car more often than not just so that one gets to hear that glorious titanium exhaust going about its business! :)

Wow the car looks cool and sounds perfect. Thanks for the clips.

Thanks PJ, I should be the one to thank you for this awesome muffler.

I did a 400 KM round trip over the weekend with the silencing baffle mounted. There was no noisy feeling from the exhast, I could cruise at speeds 100-120 without causing any headache to anyone in the car. I usually dont do insane speeds on the highway and maitain speeds not more than 110. Only in speeds excess of 140 there is this growl from the exhaust which I can no way call noise.

It was sweet music, and the good thing is that even my dad likes it. And now that the carbon deposits have settled down, the exhaust note has become more deep and smooth. With the silencing baffle mounted in city driving speeds (that is if you dont Rev hard) you might even forget that there is this loud exhaust mouted on to your ride. It's a wonderful add-on. I'm just loving it, I feel lucky to have got this muffler which looks so tailor made for my needs. I'm sure there are many out here looking for such a addon to your cars and would love this.

Guys

Slightly OT, but thought of sharing some videos of pramodkumar's lancer after the muffler installation. No, it is not a titanium one. Please use a good headphone.

1) Launch - my style
YouTube - Lancer - Launch

2) Launch - pramod's style
YouTube - Lancer - Launch II

3) Drive- by

So what do you think? comments / critics welcome.

Hi. That's a neat looking fiesta:).

By the way, i have few queries on your installation.
1) Is it only the end-can which cost you 15k ?
2) Does this have Catalyst-Converter in place or it is removed ?
3) Does the extra baffle protrude out or the thin end will be fitted in such a way that it is inserted into end-can.

1. Yes it's just the end can
2. Both the catalytic converter & the resonator are left as it is
3. The baffle sits flush into the exhaust, you may see how it looks in one of the videos.

My dear Tbhp friends...my miltek exhaust is purely for performance and there is no mileage drop also. The car note is awesome for me because i wanted it like that.It is not at all loud and only in high revs you can listen to the pure music of the exhaust. In idle you even cant listen to the exhaust note unless the place is damn quiet.

@sathee46,
In the opening post you had mentioned about a Rs.1500 locally fabricated Tin Can type muffler:D. How would the performance of it be???:D
