In addition to 195/60/14 Yokohama ES 100, I had utilized 185/70/14 Michelin on my first generation diesel Swift. When compared to the 195/60/14, which looked nice but was not as comfortable, the 185/70/14 was more comfortable over the long term.
If comfort is your top concern, I would advise you to stick with 185/65/15 and choose a Continental UC6 or Michelin.
Folks, I have a recently purchased pre-loved Compass petrol. Noticed it has Bridgestone Duellers 225 18 inchers in front and Bridgestone Turanza in same size at the back.
The Duellers are recently replaced within last 6-8 months. The Turanza would be about 3 years old - having run about 17k kms.
Question - What impact if any because of 2 different sets of tyres I need to be aware about ?
Opinion Needed - My view is to let both tyres run say for a couple of years and then change.

I've had a similar situation before. Due to a double puncture, my i20 Active had Yoko BluEarth GTs in the front and Yoko Earth 1s at the rear for a year or more, before we sold the car.
I asked the same question to the tyre shop owner, and his response was: As long as the tyre sizes are exactly the same, there's not much noticeable issue, just the regular wear and tear.

I need some help understanding wheel upgrades. I want to downgrade the wheels and tires on my S-Cross to either 215/60 R15 or 215/70 R15. Currently, I am running 215/60 R16 tires with 6.5Jx16 ET50 alloy wheels.
I'm considering using 15" steel wheels from the Jimny, which have a size of 15x5 1/2J.
Will these fit? I am looking for a basic understanding of how this works.
P.S. I wanted to ask here first, but I'll also check with a wheel/tyre shop.

I am looking to change tyres on my Alto 800. Currently running in Bridgestone Turanza. The initial stock tyres were JK which completely worn out in 35000 km so replaced with Bridgestone Turanza by spending extra amount assuming that it would last longer but its not the case, It also gave up now in another 35000 km.
Bridgestone Turanza though the thread has worn out quickly it still gives good gripping and not even encountered a single puncture till date despite most of our driving is in farm area and village roads. Only problem is now huge tyre noise due to bald tyres.
Our car is a daily runner which does about 50 km per day in the village roads and rarely we take it for Highway. I am looking for a tyre which could last longer and pocket friendly.
Below are my choices and price when i enquired. I selected these because they offer me 2-3 years of unconditional warranty.
1. Bridgestone Sturdo - 3250
2. Apollo Amazer 4G Life - 2850
3. Ceat Milaze - 2750
Kindly provide your suggestions which would suit my requirement.

Good Folks, need your recommendation for an upcoming tyre changed on a 2018 Pre worshipped Audi A6 that i bought last year. The Bridgestone Tubeless stock tyres that came are nearing their end of life ( couple of punctures in recent times on BLR moon crater roads)
The current tyres are 245/55/r18 100W
Considering the state of Bangalore roads today especially in ORR Bellandur area, what would be the ideal specs to go ahead with when replacing my current set
Also have seen reviews that Continental Ultra contact seem to be the way to go but folks at Audi seem to recommend Goodyear
Pls do share your views, much appreciated in advance!
Is the Goodyear Made in India and come with the WFS ( worry free service ) warranty ?
Unconditional Warranty is what will set them both apart.
Continental offers a 2 years / upto 50% tread wear out unconditional warranty while Goodyear India Limited offers a years or upto 60% tread wear out unconditional warranty. Check with the showroom guys if the Goodyear's are grey market imports or Official made in India or imported by Goodyear India Limited.

Hello All,
Finally I changed my bald tyres with Ceat Milaze X3 with the same stock size 145/80 R12 tubeless tyre. It costed me 2750 per tyre which in total 11000 including alignment and balancing.
My bald Bridgestone tyres
New Ceat Milaze X3. Ceat claims life upto 1,00,000 km :D interesting
I usually go with Bridgestone but this time I wanted to try some other brand. The reason why i selected CEAT specifically is because I will be selling my vehicle soon.

I am planning to change the tyres on my Skoda Kushaq (205/55 R17), and I’ve narrowed it down to two options: PIRELLI Cinturato P7 and BRIDGESTONE Turanza 6i. There is a significant price difference between the two, and I’ve received mixed feedback regarding quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
I am a huge Michelin fan, but unfortunately, they don’t offer tyres in this size for my vehicle. I am leaning toward trying the PIRELLI Cinturato P7 but want to ensure they are safe and stable for Indian road conditions. If they don't meet expectations, I am open to switching to Bridgestone.
Would love to hear from fellow owners/ tyre enthusiasts who have experience with either of these options.

Posting after a long time, I went back to the stock size 215/55 R18 in Bridgestone Turanzas. However, after one week and 500km, the tyres were returned back to dealer. The stock size was not offering any grip, with lighter steering and car not feeling planted at highway speeds.
After long persuasion, the dealer agreed to take back the tyres but I got lesser than what I had spent. This time, Continental 245/50 R 18 have been installed and things changed entirely. The grip level, high speed driving, steering feedback and stability is now awesome, even better than 235/18 as the side wall has become slightly taller offering firmness.
Everyone, i need a suggestion on right set of tyres for my Virtus GT which has recently completed 10k kms and 7 months of ownership. I managed to ride on the stock CEAT till now however i would like to change it to new set of tyres, the only good option i could find and deduce is Continental UC6 with same profile, however i would need an insight on below two things:
1. Should i wait to complete around 25k kms to change the tyres?
2. Is it advisable going with higher profile of tyres rather than sticking with the stock profile (different brand), if yes what would be the better profile than stock considering the speedometer issues. Much Thanks in advance.
