Apple TV has acquired a deal for a new yet-to-be-titled Formula One movie. The upcoming F1 movie will be starring Brad Pitt and will be directed by 'Top Gun: Maverick' filmmaker Joseph Kosinski. The movie will also include 7-time F1 world champion Sir Lewis Hamilton as one of the producers.



The upcoming movie will be written by Ehren Kruger (who also wrote Top Gun: Maverick). The movie will also be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman and Brad Pitt's 'Plan B' banners, alongside Lewis Hamilton.

While details of the movie plot are scarce, reports state that Brad Pitt could play the role of a racer coming out of retirement to mentor a young rookie teammate.
