As promised, Netflix has released season 5 of the popular series Formula 1: Drive to Survive.

Netflix confirmed the fifth and sixth seasons back in May 2022. Like the previous seasons, you can expect to see all the drama and some behind-the-scenes action from the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship, which let’s be honest, was quite exciting.

The Formula1: Drive to Survive series on Netflix is produced by Academy award-winning James Gay-Rees and Paul Martin. It has gained a lot of popularity ever since the first season. It has also helped bring in new audiences and followers, especially in the United States.

You can watch Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 5 on Netflix.

Just finished the Season 5, it had given good insight on what happened behind the scene on Oscar Piastri-Alpine-Mclare fiasco and Mercedes' porpoising issue. Overall great season with some awesome visuals.

I caught the latest season over the weekend too, and even as a newbie F1 fan (I only became one after binging the first 4 seasons last year), I found it to be rather underwhelming. I felt that the "Piasco" controversy was showcased quite poorly and ignored the CRB ruling completely. Additionally, it seemed that they covered only a handful of races and the story was written only around them.

However, Toto's handling of the porpoising issue and the TP meeting (I howled at Horner's "change your f***ing car") did make for great entertainment
