Suzuki GW250 China will it make into India?

So finally the news is out. Suzuki begins production of its GW250 in China and is speculated to be launched in India in 2012 Autoexpo. isnt the 2012 launch pretty late, considering the fact that its competitors, Kawasaki and the Honda already have their 250 in the market and by 2012 end, by which we may be able to see the bike in market, the other two japs would have had a good share of the market and Suzuki has to be really competitively priced and technically advanced to catch a piece of its market share. Already they made this mistake in the 150 segment by launching a wonder bike quite late and losing the market, so now the are planning to repeat it again in the 250 segment?

I cant find this bike appealing.. or am i the only one here?

lol, its called the "Baby King" in the Suzuki stable. This bike is indeed a good performer but sadly, a late market entry might kill yet another good bike from Suzuki! It has parallel twin, liquid cooled. Will surely give the Honda single cylinder a run for its money. Lets wait and watch how is looks in flesh.

From the side view, it looks like a grown-up GS150R.

The engine specs are good though. This might be the first affordable twin.

They should keep the prices around 1.2- 1.3L if they need to get some market share. Otherwise the CBR offers a better package.

Loose the stupid fairing, or make it a 220F type and it will sell in 1000s!! Of course, price appropriately.

But then this is the chinese production. So indian version may be different but somehow I dont like the slingshot style tail lamps.
