Not For The Dudes

HopOnGurls! Ride Your Passion

Got this from a friend wanting to ask whether he can join up as a trainer. I declined saying the trainer seats are full.

Sounds quite interesting.

Not that I know anything about them.

Disclaimer 1: I am no way connected to these folks neither am I advertising this, got it as a forward from a not-a-dude friend.

Disclaimer 2: I know, no helmets, no safety gear. No Nothing.

This gives me an idea. I need Bullet Riding Trainers. Slots open.

Nice find.
But, it seems to be only in Benguluru.
Hope its craze catches other cities too.
My better half is very much inspired and looking forward to ride one after seeing the movie Jindagi Na Milegi Dobaara..

Yup, the new 'Bullets' i.e. Classic 500, 350 and the rest of the UCE brigade are pretty trouble free and easy to start ie self-start. So Ladies can ride'em like Katrina in that flick. But when the sprang clutch screws up then it will be a different ball game...

Dude, even I find these factors pulling me towards RE these days. Wish RE holds "experience camps" like HD (but only spread over a weekends) , so that Bullet noobs like me can get a taste of how it is like to live with one.

The website does not open at my workplace, but I am assuming its
- RE trying to pull in a female audience.
- Holding workshops/campaigns for them.
- Is not very big on safety.

Re: Not For The Dudes

No helmet, forget about riding gear... some Hop On Gurls are even riding 'Bulls' wearing slippers. Their only protection seem to be goggles!!! Their instructors are truly training them in the art of riding a motorcycle -- the Indian way!!!

+1 I thought the picture section was to attract more women to the group but after looking at some of the videos I was wrong in some videos people are not wearing helmets and some they are. Some of the 'Gurls' are actually wearing 3/4ths and riding.

Nevertheless it is definitely a Good concept I am sure a lot of girls have someplace to start biking, in Bangalore there will be a lot of takers for something like this. But why only Bullets, why not other bikes?

Re: Not For The Dudes

Oh man !! My wife has been after me to join this. She has already taken over my RE 350 Standard, and wants to paint it pink
I have already given her enough lessons and she even rode more than 100km in a day. The only issues is at slow speeds and I think that would come by experience and not by joining Hop on Gurls !!

Ohhh!!! I know how it is. My gurl keeps pestering me to paint my old bike purple or pink so that she can acquire it instead of borrowing it.

But believe me, it is great to have our ladies love their mistresses. Only drawback I see is, we end up losing out on our machines in the bargain.
