Yes, sorry that I got confused between FY & FY1. Even the FY is 110/70 (& not 110/80)

I have almost finalised the rubbers to be FY1-90/80-17 at the front. I hope that the 90mm section will not foul with anything as the stock tyre is 80mm contact patch.

Little confused about rear as to go with Vyde or Zapper S. Looks like Vyde is not available in tubeless avatar for 100/90, which is the stock size. Zapper S tubeless is available in 100/80.

Was interested in Vyde as it looks a corners craving tire to me but not at the cost of losing the tubeless form.

Zapper FY is 80/90-17.

Go for zapper S at rear and zapper FY1 at the front. No issues will be there. No fouling nothing.

PS : today purchased my second zapper FY2 for my pulsar. Will be changing it next week as my current front tire will complete 25K kms. Besides monsoons are also approaching. Cost me 1900 bucks

Ya Zapper FY is present in 110/70-17 . But i have not seen them in that size in the tyre shops. Have you?

So, must be FY1 you meant. But isn't 1900 bucks significantly cheaper than what was posted before. I remember it being priced at about 3100 bucks.

No no what i meant is FY is available in 110/70-17 size . But not available in the shops. Only the 80/90-17 size is available

Ya i paid heavily because then i purchased the tyre from Yamaha showroom. None of the tyre shops had it and i had to get a tyre.Even now it retails at 3000 bucks at yamaha showrooms. But this time i was fortunate to get it from a MRF delear who stocked this tyre. So happily grabbed the tyre before someone else took it!

But no regrets for paying 3100 for the tyre originally. I have used it a lot and now its nearing 25K kms. Will change once it completes 25K

Thanks for the work there aargee, but the pic attached shows as the contact patch as 100mm, but mine is 80mm; so there is a difference between 100/80 & 80/100 tires. Sure you already know that, just to bring it to your attention.

Which models are these exactly?Size? How much is the price?

Please post a review in on this thread in the format mentioned in the first page once you burn some rubber on the road.

PS- I was not able to start looking for the tyres here in Bangalore since i have held up with issues on family front. Good that you got them in Chennai itself.

Not about tyres but related.

Are the major tyre shops equipped to balance the wheels after tyre installation ? Last time I changed a MC Tyre in India was ages ago and hence, this question.

What sort of weights are used - the sticker type or conventional wedges ? Also are led weights which fits on the spokes still available ?
