Looks Fantastic !!!

The fairing in the previous look of the vehicle - was it an aftermarket fitment?

Looks stunning , Goes a distance in saying if bitten by RD bug you can own one even in this days . By the way, what is the SS support between the front forks just above the front mud guard .

Congrats on the revival of a legend! :)
That disk rotor is not from any Indian bike. Where from?
BTW, LT or HT version?

Very nice looker. Brought back memories of my youth when i used to ride this thing. Me and my friend bought our bikes together - ours were silver greys. Having them serviced was a royal PITA. Escorts never could ensure there were spares in the service centres. Enjoy your ride - it is one hell of a bike.

I remember the times ,maybe 1984 or so our Bombay Traffic police had given away some of them to few traffic sub inspectors. One of those jokers used to live at Millat Nagar and I used to seee him pass by my home with wrong gears selected according to speed and with high RPM on engine.:Frustrati As those idiots were used to their sluggish Bullets, and were not aware of this bomb, which was a super bike of those times. After some years all of them were sold as scrap. As usual they did not have technical know how in their outdated M.T.department at byculla.

Congrats!!
I got started with mine yesterday. Procuring parts to finishing it - hope to do so in a couple of months. Will get connected for any help needed :)

Thank you all for the wishes...

@arijithin: the fairing and the extra fittings like the saree guard, carrier and crash guard are OE ones but i use them only for the FC time :)

Rovergen: that is the front fork brace , am using a 37mm P220 forks and hence i had to rework on the front fender to have the OE look and the fork brace helps to reduce vibration and wobbles at speed

@MindSpeeDs: Yes procure all the parts by making a list and then in one go get the things done...i phased the build into 3 with first being engine, then front end and cosmetics...Cosmetics i picked as the last step due to the fact that once all the fitting and fixing jobs are done and finalised i can get cosmetically fixed in one go and no removals or fitting again hope u got what i mean and all the best for your build happy to help with what i can

More or less what I have in mind. Getting the cosmetic part done at the same time. Have listed out all that is needed. Should zero in on the sellers and where from I would be getting the parts in a couple of days. Where did you pick most of your stuff from (engine parts)?

Congrats , the bike looks great and love the colour.
Does one need to go for US Spec heads , if the barrels are US Spec? Also is this an RDD build?

Oh Man!! Absolutely gorgeous!! The paint job, the finish amazing.

COngrats man and thanks for sharing this lovely ride with us. It looks stunning!!

That is just beautiful ! Fantastic job on the restoration. Made my day!

Looking good mate. Time to get back into the garage and get those hands dirty and get the restoration underway. Your thread was the last straw to help me move my lazy posterior.

Its better to go for the US spec heads as well as the bowl area volume varies and that can affect the compression. I built the bike outside but using RDD CDI and also have received lot of help from many friends in RDD as well

I picked the engine parts as you can see that picture a full engine in a basket...and got it vapour blasted to get it cleaned. other parts like clutch plates, bearings, gaskets, seals and all from US rebore and crank build was done here in UK

Thanks. The other bike (2nd picture) has an expansion chamber. Is that a Spec II? If yes, wanted to know if the performance difference from stock silencer is noticeable.
