"Platina" new bike from Bajaj

guys
Bajaj launched this bike called Platina few days back for executive segment. this is a 100cc bike. Is supposed to be pegged below Discover110 and above CT100. also heard that plans to shelve CT100.

So is this going to be Bajaj's trump card to compete in 100CC segment? Any idea of the price?

Looks like an incremental build. Nothing very "new" in it. They have taken their various bikes and come up with this design. In fact feels like a pshoped one. The front fairing is from the Caliber. The back portion with its swoosh kind of look is from the Wind whereas the tank reminds me of the Discover and the exhaust heat guard is very Pulsar!

The tank looks more like the boxers tank to me and not to mention the same damn alloys on the pulsar, discover. Is there no other design that they can conjure up?

hmmm

with Bajaj and TVS its always "Old bride with a new saree" concept . its the same engine as the previous models ,borrowed instrument panels ,fairings ,etc . Just a marketing strategy rather than a real evolution .

Lousy manufacturers !
