New Bajaj Discover 100M coming up on 15th October, 2013

As per ACI, Bajaj have a 100 CC bike lined up for launch on the 15th - the Discover 100M, & the pricing is expected to be around Rs.45k for the drum brake version, & for another couple of grands, you can have the disk brake version.

The bike appears to be fairly powerful will 9.3bhp & 0.92kgm torque from its 102cc mill.

Please refer link to ACI's report for more details on the bike:

The Discover is Bajaj's Splendor I guess with so many iterations.

Re: New Bajaj Discover 100M coming up on 15th October, 2013

Inevitably, there is only one reason for Bajaj to launch versions after versions for its so-called brand. "Sales decline!" Though I have purchased a new Bajaj since 2009, it was XCD, I can reckon that Discover range is not at all reliable, and thats the reason for their ad infinitum variants.

Good to see Bajaj Auto is bridging the gap between their product line up.
Earlier Mr.Bajaj had said that they will focus on premium segment and not interested in numbers. How come his opinion changed in no time? Looks like they want a small pie of Hero's entry level motorcycle market share.
