PIC: Bajaj Discover variant spotted testing

Enthusiasts at BikeAdvice.in have spotted another mule of the Discover (apparently 100cc variant) in Pune, MH. Refer pic below:

It seems that Mr.Bajaj has taken a leaf from Munjals, & is bombarding the commuter segment with numerous variants to gain share. Good business strategy, but bad for the enthusiasts IMO.

re: PIC: Bajaj Discover variant spotted testing

Frankly, I can't differentiate between any Bajaj motorcycles - their sub-pulsars all look alike.

If I see a pulsar I know it's a pulsar but I can't tell what model looking from behind.

Bajaj should either consolidate their offerings or give them distinctive names. Currently they're just a mess.

lol Bajaj is going the Tata way :P keep adding variants.
They just need to make something simple, reliable and niggle free. I think the dream yuga and the evergreen ruler Splendor are appropriate for the commuter market.
Slightly OT- Sometime back Bajaj had launched the discover 125st. I don't know what the officially claimed FE was, but 2 people in my college who have it are very frustrated. They don't get more than 35-37km/l. That is what I get when I keep redlining my Fazer.
