Honda registers Design Patent for Naked CBR300R

To cater to the growing demand of street-fighter motorcycles, Honda has registered on 20th Dec 13, the design patent of a naked motorcycle at the EU’s office for harmonisation in the internal market. The bike shares its components with the fully faired CBR300R, while the looks are inspired from other naked Hondas, & could be christened as CB300F upon launch.

The bike will be powered by the CBR300R sourced 286cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine, with 31PS of power, but, will have a top speed lower than the fully faired version.

Somehow, to me, the bike's design looks quite similar in appearance to the Kawasaki RR Mono 250CC street racer bike.
