The RT125D Hyosung

125cc carb' dirt bike with big tyres and 135kg.

Quoting data from Autocarindia.

"RT125D can easily be distinguished from other 125cc motorcycles present in the market, thanks to the meaty 130/80 x 18 (front) and 180/80 x 14 (rear) Shinko tyres that carry the 135kg motorcycle effortlessly over our harsh roads. The 125D also proved to be a capable dirt mangler as I took it for a quick spin off-road. Powered by a four-stroke, 124.5cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder and carburetted engine, the bike felt refined, producing 10bhp of maximum power at 10000rpm, and 1.1kgm of torque at 8000rpm."

We might get the 250cc but then I bet it gonna be 2.5lac plus right?

Looking at the last pic, it looks like a toy dwarf bike, and its definitely over-tyred.

Re: The RT125D Hyosung

It would just be great to see this bike in India with a 250cc mill. Although not a hardcore off road bike, it should do well to satisfy people looking for a motorcycle with decent power figures that can go both on/off the road.

Ideally, I would have liked if Honda introduced the CRF250L (which sharing the same motor from the CBR250 should have been easy for Honda to launch here - But, maybe they are too shy to tread on untested roads).

Here's a ride report from overdrive:

There is a reason why it has these wide tyres - for better traction especially in sand. (To my knowledge - someone please correct me if I am wrong).
