re: Krisaki Motorcycles, Cochin - Heard of them?

Logo looks way to close to the BMW logo at first sight! And what is Krisaki - Kerala Kawasaki?

Anyways, the bike in the first pic looks decent enough for an entry level cruiser (poser).

re: Krisaki Motorcycles, Cochin - Heard of them?

Their international website claims that they are based out of Great Britain and ironically their Indian website is full of bloopers; grammar and spelling wise. While the international website shows several sports models, the Indian one is showing only cruisers from 125 to 900 cc.

What is funny is that both this company and the Hyderabad based Eider Motors have very similar content in their websites, the most outrageous being that they are leading manufacturers with highest quality standards. They also claim R and D. Start ups claiming things which well established companies cannot do. They are here to go. I don't think one will see even a single model hit the market from these manufacturers. Like Oshiro, who advertised and advertised for dealers before taking up the option of marketing cycles. These are all Chinese/Mexican make motorcycles. Got to give it to the entrepreneurs though. What do they see that we don't or is it don't they see what we do?

Re: Krisaki Motorcycles in India!

The site does not look professional. And surprised to hear that the brand originated in Britan, and with a projection of 10 billion GBP. Also not sure if this how dealer requirements are for other companies!!

+1

Nothing impressive, I could not find any review for their motorcycles in GOOGLE either.

By the way, there is already a thread on Krisaki here:

Funny that a small town in Kerala is poised to have the first dealership in India.
The text in the site is full of grammatical errors. Their UK site indicates that a SUV will be launched in 2014.
This is an excerpt from the UK site.

Re: Krisaki Motorcycles in India!

Youtube video linked to Krisaki's site shows Pulsar pics.

I see a red pulsar at 11th second in this 1 minute video clip.

Is this the chinese company which copied Pulsar?

Don't all of the logos on the bikes look copy pasted?
That's a shoddy site, for sure, and being the first contact point for most of us, we ain't going to be lining up at the showroom. Smells wrong too.

Re: Krisaki Motorcycles in India!

total scam. At least they could have spent some money and effort to make a better site. I am sure still some idiots are going to fall for the trap and invest some cash in the company

What's with the motorcycle segment and all these seemingly dubious players coming up? Here's my post from the Regal Raptor thread:

Remember the stupid electric bike manufacturer - Terra Motors and their tall claims?

Or UM Motorcycles (link)?

All of these unknown manufacturers showcased bikes, launched lousy websites and then disappeared without a trace. Oh wait, some of them have merely 'delayed' plans (indefinitely).

I don't think there is a business case for cheap Chinese motorcycles in India. The mass market manufacturers (Hero, Bajaj, Honda etc.) are offering good quality at reasonable prices.

Yes, they do. I was wondering why nobody noticed that. And yes, something does seem odd.
