You cannot buy the Comet in India anymore, as KIL have stopped importing it.

My friend sent them an e-mail fir the same but they told him the same thing and tried to sell him the BLAZE instead.

Go in for a ZMA or wait for the 250 DTS-Fi.

I would say buy a used performance bike or else wait for the 250cc yamaha to debut. Even the pulsar 250 is great. Karizma wouldnt be upto the stick.

Yeah you can wait for it if you have patinece else your only option from currently available bikes is Karizma unless ofcourse you wann get an RE bike

if u can get hold of a good well maintained Comet .... nothing like that ......

Its V-twin is just superb .... fantastic ..... the mid range is mind boggling .... and the street presence of the Comet is also pretty good .... offers u Gr8 exclusivity ......... i never liked bajaj .... so after i managed to crash my Comet ..... i went in for the ZMA .......

i think you should wait for pulsar 250

Also i woudn't suggest you to go for the comet as i have heard that it has major stability problems at high speeds

For god's sake its a 220cc bike & not 250cc whihc will be launched by BAL & dont tell me its the same.

even i've heard problems with the stability of the comet..go in for the Karizma..just suggesting that coz I don't like Bajaj much..

I am not posting links but google pulsar 250 and you will find equal number of links.

Maybe you are right and they changed the name.

Ok first I didnt google for it & 2nd the fact that pulsar would be 220 was nown to me atleast 6 months back but then lets not go into that Yes lots of people did rumored that it would bea 250 but sadly it isnt
