Best bikes

Hi kris,

I would rate the bikes in this fashion..
Yamaha Gladiator - best fuel economy in the pack and power as well
Discover - second best to Gladiator
Shine ... I dont have anything against it, but i keep it below the rest of your choices.

Let me add, you can also look at Splendour 125 CC one as an option ok. They offer good mileage and power too. Its got a different look from the typical old spendour look as well.

I woudl put splendor before Yamaha gladiator, but gladiator is definitely more powerful than splendor on speed runs.

Gladiator seems to be a very polished bike. It is even said to be better than the glamour fi. But the on-road price is 50k in blr.

Shut your eyes, and go for the Glamour FI. Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but it's the best in the segment. Excellent fuel economy and superb resale value are added bonuses.

I agree with you veyron1, I actually forgot about Glamour when I posted my reply. I only thought of the splendor 125. FI is really a good concept and should give good power to mileage delivery factor.

What about the Suzuki offerings, guys ? Zeus, Heat etc.
Any idea how these bikes are vis-a-vis the competition ?

The best way to decide is to Test ride all the bikes: Gladiator, Discover, Glamour, Shine & Victor 125. I would shortlist Gladiator and Shine.

Rule out shine and it vibes a lot at high speeds. Yamaha or Discover it should be. oh heard HH FI is damn smooth

Hi guys,

Please suggest a 125/135 cc bike for my dad. He is 56 years old and prefers a straight riding position. The bike will be used mostly for very short trips around home. Please suggest a bike. We are open to suggestions and haven't shortlisted anything.

Thanks

Hero Honda Splendor 125 or Glamour FI. Bomb proof reliability and great resale value.

Cheers,

Jay

Questions for Krisme4u...
1. What is the primary use for 125CC bike? Is it for a regular city ride or looking for some other purpose in addition (touring for example)
2. What're your expectation? Provide your requirements like, expecting 70Kmpl and/or low on maintenance and/or VFM and/or super build quality and/or sturdiness and/or low spare costs and/or fastest 125CC & so on
