TVS updates Phoenix 125 for 2015

TVS Motor Company has given The Phoenix 125 motorcycle some updates for 2015. The updates include some cosmetic changes and additional features.

The Phoenix comes with a dual tone front visor and a redesigned tank with new scoops and 3D Phoenix lettering. The bike gets new graphics as well. In terms of features, the commuter motorcycle gets twin LED pilot lamps, a DC headlamp, a vehicle locator key, a fully digital speedometer, hazard lamps and tubeless tyres.

The Phoenix is powered by a 124.53cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine that puts out 11 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 10.8 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm. The bike comes with a 4-speed transmission. Stopping power comes from 130 mm drums all round. A 240 mm front disc brake is available as an option.

The Phoenix measures 1,985 mm in length, 740 mm in width and 1,065 mm in height with a wheelbase of 1,265 mm and a ground clearance of 165 mm. It weighs between 114 and 116 kg, depending upon the variant.

The Phoenix 125 comes in six colours - Crimson Black, Black Magic, Midnight Black, Red Hot, Cherry White and White Night.

Prices (ex-showroom, Delhi):
  • TVS Phoenix Drum: Rs. 51,990
  • TVS Phoenix Disc: Rs. 55,899

Why Bother?

Did it ever even sell? It is just recalled for the wrong reasons like the erstwhile Flame(Double Spark Issue with Bajaj).
This bike neither has any USP nor the looks or the recall factor or any desirability.

Doesnt sell and wont sell even post this!!

Phoenix 2015 really looks wonderful, when driven I found it more smoother than CB Shine.

The new looks and new features look really good primarily the digital cluster, disc brake, new canister shocks and seating are impressive.
