Mahindra Arro commuter motorcycle spied on test Mahindra has started testing a new commuter motorcycle. The Arro, as it is known, is likely to be the cheapest motorcycle from the company, slotting in below the Centuro and Pantero in its line-up.
The Arro is already on sale in international markets such as Uganda. It is powered by a 106.7cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, MCI-5 petrol engine that puts out 8.4 BHP and 8.5 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. This is the same engine and gearbox combination that is found in the Centuro and Pantero.
The spy image of the Arro shows the bike with a round headlamp, an alloy wheel at the front, drum brakes, a telescopic fork front suspension, a dual-shock rear suspension, dual analogue meters orange turn indicators and a passing light switch. The alarm system of the Centuro is likely to be left out from the equipment list.
More details on the Arro are awaited.
