XP, a search before posting often helps. Here's a recent thread: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...hlight=chopper

XP, I know that that particular thread doesnt have much details about modifiers. It was more to point to choppers not being street-legal.

if u need a contact in Pune then theres Aatish off Karve Road near to Abhinav Vidyalaya and he does the bike just too good.
hes done a recent mod using the unicorn suspension and the bike looks awesome. he can get u twin exhausts with the dummy pipe looking perfectly connected to the block. no cheapo stuff.
nice neat fenders,
hes done a springer too.

but he needs time atleast 3 weeks for 1 bike to get customised from full strip. the mods depend on ur budget and ur taste.

i can give u his exact location but i dont have a contact number with me now.

also he will tune it for u and rebuild complete engine, if u need engine mods like clutch, cams, oil pump he will get it done.

like said by 2fast mods will depend on your $$$ simple. A decent used bike 15 - 20G. Moddin to get the chopper would mean putting a small Enticer 16" or so tire in the back, give or take about 7G for that, add a good paint job about 4K for a nice 2K paint an Chroming another 1G, Custom Handlebars for the chopper look about 1G or so I think...give or take ya know...I wouldn't mess with the suspension..Unicorn is a light bike...Enfield is heavy...rather get the Air Shocks which are about 1200 or so....just to give you a rough idea to get it started ya know...

I suggest a cafe racer than a chopper. Contact Gordon.

The reason I suggest a Cafe Racer is because

1. Most of the cafe racers that I have seen here (i haven't seen a lot) has "Zero" modifications done to the frame or wheelbase. Which is very good because you are keeping your bike close to stock with a few upgrades to the body work.

2. you can always revert back to stock at any point of time.

3. It is a lot cheaper than converting it into a chopper.

My simple opinion is to keep it looking stock or else do something like this

Classic White Custom 2008

I am sure it will turn heads more than a chopper.
