Looks like Suzuki is playing it safe with the engine's power output, just like Honda did with the CBR 250

It makes the bike less appealing, when you know the power output of the engine is not as exciting as some of the other options available in this segment.

OT: You have got to appreciate KTM! The VFM and insane power to weight ratio of their bikes has become the benchmark of the 200-400 CC segment, which is what is making us feel this way

Weight. That's something I forgot to check, and another shocker is that it's a heavy bike at 178kgs.

They shouldn't have used the GSX-R brand for a 25ps, 178kg bike.

Seriously, does that bike weigh 178 Kilos? That's way too much for a 25PS motor to lug around. Any figures around the Torque curve releaseD?

Looks like they took the easy way out by just rebranding the Inazuma with new looks. The weight and the engine specs point towards an Inazuma clothed in wolf skin.

Exactly. Only three things have changed. Panels, Frame and tyres. Rest all carried from Inazuma. Power to weight ratio is very low and wont find a customer base in India.

Suzuki must have tried to fit this engine on the present Gixxer. The present frame is supremely capable for this power.

And Suzuki is offering this heavy bike without ABS.

Disasters bound to happen
