Motobot, Yamaha’s new bike-riding humanoid robot

Found this fascinating, evening though I don't even own a bike !!
I am wondering if I would sit behind it?

This thing is creepy and cool at the same time! I've seen a lot of autonomous talk lately, but this is just a different level. What's more is that the R1 itself hasn't been modified, with the exception of a few adjustments to accommodate the robot. Yamaha says ''R&D is currently underway with the goal of developing the robot to ride an unmodified motorcycle on a racetrack at more than 200 km/h.''

Apart from making the Motobot competent enough to beat Rossi, they're going to use it to improve rider safety, since the AI is supposed to mimic human behaviour. Looking forward to any Motobot derived advancements. I wonder if we're going to see a video of this competing with the doctor soon. A circuit would be too optimistic, but a drag race should be interesting!
