Discovery's show on Harley Davidson to premiere in India soon

The Discovery Channel will soon premiere its new show, titled 'Harley and the Davidsons', in India. The three-part miniseries provides an insight to the birth of the American motorcycle brand - Harley Davidson, and shows the journey of its founders - Walter and Arthur Davidson and their friend Bill Harley. The first episode will air in India on October 14 at 9 pm IST. It will be a weekly series, with the other two episodes releasing on the next consecutive Fridays.

The story revolves around the three founders and tries to showcase the challenges they had during their journey to establish the Harley-Davidson Motor Co. It is set up at the start of the 20th century, when the founders fought all odds and started the company in a shed out of Milwaukee, US. It also stresses on the importance of Harley Davidson's racing days that showcased the robustness and reliability of the brand's motorcycles.

The Discovery miniseries depicts various important milestones in Harley's 100-year legacy, including its collaboration with various biking clubs, securing a massive contract from the American army, and surviving the Great Depression. It also has a few elements about the famous rivalry between Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycle.

The cast of the miniseries includes - Michiel Huisman and Robert Aramayo who are playing Walter Davidson and Bill Harley, respectively. The role of Arthur Davidson has been played by Bug Hall.

The series was released in the United States on September 5, and the makers are claiming a viewership of 4.4 million.
