Big shoutout to Prabhanjan Tattar for sharing, and his wife for shooting the pics :).

Driving from Bangalore to Chennai, we spotted camouflaged scooters after Krishnagiri. My wife tried to get as many snaps as possible and as best as she could. It appears to be the new Honda Dio.
Aditya thought it's a TVS Jupiter, to which Prabhanjan replied:

I can vouch (well almost) that it is not a Jupiter. Reason being that the headlamp (which is missing in these photos :() is more in the style of Dio, and the leaked images of Jupiter had the conventional setup. Also, with Honda setting up a new plant in Karnataka in August, and very much in the area where the images were snapped, there is good reason on my behalf to think of it as a new scooter from Honda.

But then, there is a doubt about it being the Dio since it was refreshed only in March/April this year. My revised bet might be on the 125cc version of Dio.

The scooter has Alloy wheels, design of which are similar to the ones Activa 125. This denotes premium positioning as only Activa 125 has alloy wheels in Honda line up.

The rake of the front makes me think this is the Dio too but the mirrors don't seem to belong to Dio.
Maybe they have slapped on any mirror they found as the other scooter does not have any. I would guess it to be a new scooter with premium positioning.

This could be a new scooter from Honda, looking at the blown up portion of the engine fan, which looks similar to Dio.

On a side note, why is the rider, driving around the scooter in a rather un-safe padmasana posture? :uncontrol

Not a Honda. Nope. Not possible.

Reasons:
1. The exhaust is all weird. Honda didn't install fresh muffler even on something as fresh as the Navi.
2. Honda doesn't offer 12-inch rear wheels on any scooter. Not even on Activa 125.
3. 'Economies of scale' is the name of the game. Dio is not a money maker for Honda. Doesn't make sense to make a brand new exhaust and alloy wheel setup for something that's not going to sell in big numbers.

It could be a new TVS that shares the engine with the Jupiter 125. A maxi-scooter styling will go great with a 125cc motor. TVS also offers 12-inch alloys on both ends.

OR

It could be something else. But it's not a Honda.

The projection behind the pillion grab handle looks like a Wego fuel cap to me. Most probably this is a TVS scooter, a different iteration of the Wego or something similar.

Honda announces new Grazia scooter

The ‘Advanced Urban Scooter’ will go on sale in early November; bookings open from October 25 at Rs 2,000.

At the start of this financial year, Honda announced that it would launch four brand-new products for India this year: two scooters and two motorcycles. So far, we've seen the locally assembled Africa Twin AT go on sale and also the funky Cliq scooter. Now, the company has disclosed that its upcoming third product will be called the Grazia.

Very little has been officially revealed about the Grazia at the moment, with the company stating that it is an ‘Advanced Urban Scooter’ and that bookings will be open from October 25 at Rs 2,000. Though the company hasn’t released any teasers, images of the Grazia have leaked out from a stockyard and there's a fair amount of detail we can understand from them.

For starters, the Grazia is a handsome, sharply designed scooter, but refrains from bordering into the groundbreaking and polarising space of the Navi and Cliq. The large V-shaped headlamp, located on the front apron, looks striking and will help the scooter stand out. From the looks of it, the scooter has a large front wheel (which could span 12 inches) similar to the Activa 125.

We're also happy to see telescopic front forks and a disc brake. There's no ABS ring on display, but the sticker on the scooter confirms that it ships with Honda’s Combi-brake technology. Further premium touches come in the form of metal foot pegs for the pillion rider.

The Grazia follows the funky, Grom-inspired Navi and the rural-focused Cliq. And since both those scooters use the smaller 109.2cc engine from the Activa, this time around we might see the bigger engine from the more premium Activa 125.

Honda says the Grazia will “create new excitement with its advanced technology, innovative industry first features and sharp design lines.” From the spy shots, it's reasonable to assume that the Grazia will take a more premium stance than the Navi or the Cliq, and this will reflect in the price.

We suspect Honda will reveal more titbits of information in the coming days before the full launch, which should be before November 10. Stay tuned!

The Honda Grazia is a sportier avatar of the Honda Activa 125 and bookings for the scooter will commence from October 25th across all Honda dealers in India.

Honda 2Wheelers India has announced the booking amount for the new Honda scooter is Rs 2,000. According to the Japanese two-wheeler giant, the new Grazia has been developed on the concept of “Advanced Urban Scooter.” Honda hasn’t divulged launch details for the new scooter but expect it to hit showrooms by early November.

it will be a stylish 125cc scooter based on the Honda Activa 125. It gets a raked-out front apron with body-mounted, wide headlamp and large turn indicators which endow the scooter with a menacing face. Honda designers have also added lots of creases to give the scooter a sporty attitude to please the urban buyers and youngsters, who are the target audience for the scooter. Honda Grazia will get a semi-digital instrument console and the choke knob has been mounted below the switchgear. The new 125cc scooter also gets a switch next to the keyhole to unlock the seat. Unlike the Honda Activa 125, which employs a metal body, the new Grazia will employ fibre for its body, which should make it lighter than its elder 125cc sibling.

The alloy wheels and the front display looks similar to the bike that I saw nearly a month back. Thought it might be Dio 125, but it is the Grazia.

Honda adds another new scooter to its line up! Welcome the new Grazia!

Gets telescopic suspension upfront and discs (not sure if this is optional).

Looks good. Finally Dio would get a worthy upgrade matching in style, if this comes in 125cc guise.

Hoping it has decent underseat storage (enough to fit a full face helmet). Been really curious ever since the spy shots of the test mules showed up. I also hope it has the same cool matte grey shade which the new Dio comes in.

Since the test mules were spotted near Bangalore, I'm assuming this new scoot will be manufactured at Honda's Narsapura plant. Been wishing for a 150cc scoot from Honda, but this 125 is it for now I guess.

That's one good-looking scooter, although it looks half a size smaller than the likes of the Aviator or Jupiter. Wish it comes with the 125 cc engine from the Activa (or bigger, still). I sincerely hope Honda doesn't pull, well, the usual Honda and skimp on features and build quality. :Frustrati Honda is no longer the segment benchmark it used to be, when it comes to fit, finish, and refinement.

I've ridden Honda bikes in Indonesia and looking at the 'ignition' written near the keyhole, it might be a fuel injected scooter (PGM-fi in Honda terms). The button is for opening the boot and can be pressed only when the key is in.
Looks good, might think of getting it :)

Announcing a new scooter just after the Diwali season? Looks like they missed the target launch date. Even their ad says "The new festival of lights".
